A lot has happened this month! The CS2 IEM Cologne 2026 Major started and concluded, with Team Falcons winning and lifting the trophy. We had some intense games and high-pressure moments. But also a lot of fun.

Falcons won the IEM Cologne 2026 CS2 Major!
Congratulations to Team Falcon for winning the Counter-Strike 2 Major IEM Cologne 2026!
We had some very intense games and highlights, and we want to congratulate NiKo on his first-ever Major win- something he worked long and hard for to obtain.
Love em or hate em, Team Falcons did the unthinkable. As a Team in the Top 5 rated Teams (according to HLTV) they knocked out and defeated the other Top 4 Teams world wide, beating Navi, Vitality, Spirit and lastly also Team Furia. This Major Trophy was truly deserved to be won by Team Falcons.

Premier Season Update
In other news, Counter-Strike has announced on Twitter that the Premier Season 4 will conclude soon:
“Season Four of Premier ends on July 6th. You must have 25 Season Four Premier wins and a visible CSR when the Season concludes to earn your Premier Season Four medal.”
And they have also teased new map changes to the Premier Map pool, Overpass will be removed and Cache will be added in its place.

When will Premier Season 4 end?
Premier Season 4 in Counter-Strike 2 will end on July 6th 2026, and make way for Premier Season 5!
Do not forget to have an active ranking and to win many Premier games to level up your Premier Season medal to its fullest. Each 25 wins are one "bar" or "stripe" on your medal, and the color of it is depending on your maximum reached Premier rank.

When will Premier Season 5 start?
We do not have a concrete or certain date for when Counter-Strike’s 2 Premier Season will start, but we assume that it will start either directly after the 6th of July or very shortly after, giving “Valve Time” it could also be longer. We hope that this update will also rotate the Armory Pass.
