What red skins are needed for Sport Gloves | Vice Trade up?

All reds that are needed for a Sport Gloves | Vice Tradeup in CS2

In today's article, we are going to look at what red or covert skins are needed for the elusive Sport Gloves | Vice Tradeup in Counter-Strike 2. There are two different options you can take with four different inputs, which we will cover and explain in depth. After reading our article, you will know what skins you have to buy if you want to risk it and trade up your five covert skins for the rare chance to get the vibrant Vice gloves.

Clutch Case Gloves

One of these options is the original case that the Vice gloves (among other gloves, such as the popular Driver Gloves | King Snake, Sport Gloves | Amphibious or Sport Gloves | Omega) got introduced. This was all the way back in February 14th, 2018.

To try to hit the Vice Gloves in a Trade-up, you would have to buy either the MP7 | Bloodsport, or the M4A4 | Neo-Noir from this collection. Both skins were hugely underappreciated. That was before the Covert to Knife/Glove Trade-up rolled in the door. Both of these skins have suddenly become well-demanded, even if it was just as trade-up fodder for Glove skins.

But these are not the only skins you can buy/trade-up for a chance to get cool gloves, you can also:

Revolution Case Skins

Take skins from the Revolution case. What a lot of people did not think about is, that the Revolution Case AND the Clutch Case share the same Rare Special Items (Golds). This means you can also buy the Covert skins from the Revolution case to try to hit the Golds from the Clutch case, such as the Sport Gloves Vice trade-up!

The Covert skins from the Revolution case are the AK-47 | Head Shot and the M4A4 | Temukau. But keep in mind that these skins were also popular before this update. On average, they will probably cost you a lot more than the other Clutch Case skins.

What red skins are needed for a Vice glove Trade-up?

You can choose up to four different covert skins. The MP7 | Bloodsport, or the M4A4 | Neo-Noir, or the AK-47 | Head Shot and the M4A4 | Temukau. All of these four red skins give you a chance to trade up to the expensive Sport Gloves | Vice!

You can use any of these four covert skins, or all at the same time, to try to hit the Vice Gloves! If you unbox one or two, you can simply mix and match these four Covert skins, as they all have the same Rare Special Item collection as an outcome.

What are the odds of hitting the Vice gloves in a Tradeup?

The odds of actually hitting and getting the Vice gloves from a Clutch or Revolution Case covert trade up are just 4.17%. While this is still a low percentage chance, it blows the odds for actually unboxing a gold from cases out of the water. You are a whole sixteen times more likely to get the Vice gloves from a CS2 trade-up rather than a case, which only yields 0.26% for a GOLD in general.

We asked a mathematician to confirm these odds: “I did some maths. For the same chance from a case as from the trade-up, you would need to open 395 cases. So it's 395 multiplied by the costs of one case to get the value in euros. I don't know how much a case opening costs, but assuming 2,50, that's like 987,50 euros in keys alone, so trade up is much cheaper. Basically, I'm saying that after opening 395 clutch cases, your odds of vices are 4,17% which are the same as a single trade-up!" and that is with roughly three times the price of a single trade-up as of the 3rd November 2025.

Important Disclaimer

This ONLY works for NON-StatTrak skins. As Gloves do not have a StatTrak equivalent, you can not Trade-up to any Collection which contains Gloves as the Rare Special Item with StatTrak items. You can only use StatTrak red items when the outcome will be a Knife!

You also can not use a StatTrak item from a case with Gloves as a “filler” for any Trade-up. Keep that in mind and do not buy StatTrak red skins from glove collections if you want to use them for trade-ups.

Conclusion

Thank you for reading our short article about the input for a Vice Glove Trade-up in CS2. We hope that you learned something new, but we also want to remind you that the chance to actually hit these gloves is super low. You will most likely lose money on these trade-ups. Keep that in mind and always be safe.
