Today the opening matches of BLAST Spring Finals 2021 took place. In the match between NiP and Complexity there was already the first smaller surprise of the event. In the Tier-2 scene today forZe won against Nemiga, AGO against Sprout and ALTERNATE aTTaX against HYENAS.

15:30 CET Gambit vs. Evil Geniuses - 2:0

Gambit beat Evil Geniuses 2-0, as expected, but struggled mightily on the first map, Inferno. Another great performance on the part of the North Americans.

18:30 CET NiP vs. Complexity - 0:2

All in all, a rather disappointing result for NiP. Nevertheless, Complexity showed a great performance and was able to win clearly against the Swedes in the end.
