Today, Friday, the first playoff matches already took place at cs_summit, while at DreamHack the decision for the entry into the playoffs was made.

15:00 CET Evil Geniuses vs. FPX - 0:2

Probably the biggest surprise of the day. Evil Geniuses lost to FPX on two maps and was practically without a chance.

14:00 CET NiP vs. Dignitas - 2:1

In an exciting duel, in which Dignitas fought its way back on Vertigo, NiP finally won the third map quite clearly on Inferno.

17:30 CET MIBR vs. Cloud9 - 1:2

In the last chance stage, Cloud9 secured its place against MIBR by a narrow margin. On the third map Inferno the team convinced.
Overpass (13:16), Vertigo (16:12), Inferno (08:16)

18:10 CET Spirit vs. Sprout - 2:1

In two tight maps and an all in all very exciting duel Spirit won 2:1 and Sprout was out of the tournament.
Nuke (16:12), Train (19:22), Dust2 (16:12)

21:15 CET mousesports vs. FURIA - 2:0

Mousesports and also karrigan maintained their strong form and won 2-0 after a close result on Inferno, so Mouz advanced to the semifinals.
