BIG - Latest performance & results
BIG is a German top team, which was able to surprise at the BLAST. A strong third place and the winning run up to the upper-bracket final was impressive. At the IEM, BIG replaced Team Chaos, which had disbanded and therefore slid into the field of participants.
Difficult groupThe Germans should not be underastimated. Besides Vitality, two other top teams, Astralis and Complexity, are the competitors in the group phase. BIG was able to surprise in the duels with OG and G2 at the BLAST and also showed solid performances against Astralis and Vitality for their appearance in the final.
The team was able to achieve some great victories last week, but was not able to convert them into wins in the top games. The chances against Vitality seem small, just three days ago the French won after a defeat on the first map with 16:1 and 16:2 against BIG. The odds speak for Vitality very clearly.
Vitality - Latest performance & results
Vitality, the first team to successfully implement a six-man roster and probably by far the best team in the world today. The French were not represented at the DreamHack Masters and had the chance to prepare well for the BLAST Fall Finals. The team took advantage of this and was convincing last week.
DominatingThe French were the first team to successfully deploy a sixth player and with this change they currently dominate the world's top teams. Vitality won every one of their last eight games and 12/13. These statistics alone are overwhelming and brought them tournament wins at IEM Beijing, as well as the BLAST Fall Finals.
After a defeat against BIG on the first Map Vertigo, everyone started to believe in a surprise from the Germans. But what followed was unbelievable in terms of Vitality. Also the final match against Astralis was all in all a clear affair. Apart from a narrow defeat on Dust2, the French dominated the historically best team in the world and finally placed themselves at the world's top teams in the CS:GO scene.
BIG vs. Vitality - Map-Veto prediction
Both teams ban Train by default and are happy to decide for Dust2. For the Germans it will be very difficult to surprise once again in the map veto. Vitality will have learned out of their mistakes on Vertigo, the team proved this impressively against Astralis.
Map-VetoBetween BIG and Vitality is the tip regarding the maps on Inferno and Mirage. Well possible as a decision maker would be Dust2. A new surprise pick from the Germans cannot be ruled out.
BIG vs. Vitality - Prediction
Despite the solid performance on the part of the Germans in recent weeks, we see Vitality clearly at an advantage in a bo3 duel. As expected between BIG and Vitality the odds on a French victory bet are not very tempting.
With the hope of a strong map pick from the Germans we bet on a 2:1 for Vitality. Everything else makes no sense in view of the odds and all in all a tip on this game is not very attractive.
Winners bet: Vitality
EsportFire Tip: Vitality 2:1
