Sticker Spotlight - DH2014 Cloud9 (Holo) Crafts, Supply and Prices
Topic: DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) Crafts, Prices, Supply
As you already know from our recent articles we love giving you a backstory on Counter-Strike stickers, one at a time. In today's Sticker Spotlight article we're taking a closer look at one of the two North American teams that took part at the DreamHack 2014 tournament, Cloud9. We will discuss the teams performance, some crafts, as well as the price and supply of the DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) team and sticker.
DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 – Tournament Run
Coming into the DreamHack 2014 Counter-Strike tournament there was a lot of pressure on the shoulders of the players from Cloud9. The hopes of NA Counter-Strike were in the hands of: Spencer "Hiko" Martin, Sean "seang@res" Gares, Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen, Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert and Michael "shroud" Grzesiek. The team was placed in group A with HellRaisers, Fnatic and Bravado Gaming. In their opening match, they played against Hellraisers who showcased their full potential. After 45 minutes on Inferno Hellraisers prevailed with 16-5 on the scoreboard.
In their elimination match, Cloud9's opponent was Bravado Gaming. Unlike the game versus Hellraisers, this one went into the hands of Cloud9. They only dropped one round and moved to the Deciders match after winning 16-1. To reach the playoffs they had to beat Fnatic, but everything turned out differently. The match only lasted for 21 rounds and Fnatic came out on top, crushing the dreams of the NA team. With 1-2 in the group stage, they finished the DreamHack 2014 Counter-Strike tournament in 9th to 12th place.
DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) - Sticker Supply
When talking about the DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) supply trend, there are no big surprises to be seen. Increasing demand saw the supply lacking in recent times. Currently, there are only 10 Cloud9 (Holos) listed on the Steam Community Market and 70 on Buff163. But, as always, we can't determine the total unapplied supply "hidden" in inventories around the world. Some of them are in storage units, some of them in private inventories, and some of them are not even registered yet.
DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) - Price Trend/Development
The price trend may shock you if you're not all too familiar with older Counter-Strike stickers like the DreamHack 2014 Holos. The cheapest listed available DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) sticker can be found on Buff163 for USD 280. Some of the past recorded sales of this sticker range between USD 250 and USD 300. With that said, we can estimate that a new four-times craft would cost anywhere between USD 1,000 and USD 1,200.
DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) - Sticker Crafts
Ever since Counter-Strike introduced stickers into the game, people have crafted 13,559 skins with one or more DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) stickers applied to them. Out of those 758 are four-time crafts. For today's article, we picked some old classics but also some unqiuer and fairly recent crafts. One of the newer crafts is a M4A1-S Printstream owned by @gencobraCS, who also has a full set of Printstream crafts with DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo). In @gencobraCS‘s inventory you can also find a USP-S and Deagle with four of these stickers applied to them.
One of the oldest crafts is an AK Safari Mesh in the possession of the Cloud9 collector @elmejorshaco. This AK is quite unique and most likely won't get crafted a second time. If you are a fan of Galil AR crafts, you may like this one-out-of-one from @Jackzi_, who picked it up back in February of 2022. Also, we can’t forget @RadiantCS_ and his FN 0.0004 SG 553 Integrale which he crafted in July of 2022.
One of the newer crafts we would love to showcase is this lowest float M4A1-S Nightmare, which has four DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) stickers applied to it thanks to @professor_oof. Another M4A1-S craft with four stickers is one-out-of-two M4A1-S Player Two which was recently picked up by @sh9ce.
Another purchase that happened earlier this year was in January by @erupT_cs. He further increased his skin collection by picking up a Galil AR Rocket Pop with a float value of 0.00002. It's also worth mentioning that there is only one MAC-10 in existence with four DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) stickers. That one is on a tier 1 pattern #807 MAC-10 Case Hardened and crafted by @flash5219. Looks like the Twitter Counter-Strike community is a big fan of the DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) sticker.
Some of the other skin crafts that just look quite perfect with the DH 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) are those that have pink accents to them. A good example of that are the Galil AR Sugar Rush from @wtr_csgo and the Tec-9 Decimator owned by @zipelCS.
Another old skin that we would love to showcase is the pattern #139 AK-47 Case Hardened with four stickers by @OfficialRepo. This one brings back some memories of the early Counter-Strike days and skin crafting. However, on the other hand, we also have newer, amazing crafts like the AK Leet Museo, which was released in the Operation Riptide Case and got crafted by @ViMaCSGO.
The Factory New 0.04 AK Vulcan, Minimal Wear 0.13 SCAR-20 Cardiac, Factory New 0.0001 Glock-18 Twilight Galaxy, and Factory New 0.0004 Dual Berettas Urban Shock are just a few of the many amazing crafts that can be found in one specific inventory. We're talking about the DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) sticker collector @LuckytwiceCS. We always love to see such dedication and love for one specific sticker.
I’d say the "classy pick" of the AK-47 Vulcan with four DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) stickers is something you can’t go wrong with. Probably on of my personal top-5 crafts, I would love to own one day. A few other crafts I’d like to point out would be the Galil AR Sugar Rush from @wtr_csgo and the M4A1-S Nightmare from @professor_oof. Both of them haven’t been crafted until recently a DreamHack 2014 collector pointed out that they don’t exist yet.
Many would agree that the DreamHack 2014 Cloud9 (Holo) sticker is one of the best stickers from that specific event. It's amazing to see how many stunning crafts have been created over the years. Which one is your favorite? Let us know on our Social Media.
