Tournament of the underdogs?
So far, the FunSpark ULTI 2020 Europe has been characterized by surprises. With forZe and Extra Salt, two big outsiders are in the upper-final and one of the two teams is thus represented in the final. On the fourth matchday Virtus.Pro and HAVU, as well as BIG and Evil Geniuses will meet in the lower-bracket. The losers of these duels will be eliminated from the tournament. The total prize money is 250,000 USD.
Game 1: Virtus.Pro vs. HAVU
In the afternoon match, the big favorite to win the tournament, Virtus.Pro, will face HAVU, who recently showed good performances, but lost very clearly to Complexity in the first match. The CIS team around IGL Jame is the clear favorite in this clash, but lost to forZe on the first match day. The match should end in a clear victory, but if FunSpark ULTI has shown us one thing so far, it's that surprises are possible.
Game 2: BIG vs. Evil Geniuses
The highlight match of today. Both teams played very weak on the first match day and lost significantly. The winner of this duel will meet the winner between Virtus.Pro and HAVU and will still be in the tournament. For MICHU it is the second match at Evil Geniuses.
