Game 1: OG vs. Vitality

After the dominant victory of the French in yesterday's match, OG is actually the underdog against Vitality given the odds. The European mixed team is undefeated so far and won in group B against NiP, Virtus.Pro and Evil Geniuses and could fully convince so far. After the new signings of niko and flameZ, OG is getting in better and better shape and is on its way to the top of the world. Vitality had hard first weeks after the signing of Kyojin as replacement for RpK, but started excellently into the IEM Summer 2021 with two wins. Only in the upper-final the team had to admit defeat against G2. Yesterday's performance against Virtus.Pro was brilliant.

Game 2: G2 vs. Gambit

One thing is for sure: The current number 1 of the EsportFire World Rankings will also finish the IEM Summer in the top-4 and thus most likely defend the first place in the world ranking. After a surprising and especially clear defeat against Vitality on the second match day, the Russian top team quickly found back their form and prevailed against Astralis, Complexity and yesterday in the quarterfinals against Evil Geniuses. With G2 they meet one of the two still undefeated teams at the IEM Summer. NiKo and co. could win against Extra Salt, FunPlus Phoenix and Vitality and therefore didn't have an absolute top opponent in the current event yet. The winner of the match will qualify for the grand final.
