Four invited teams eliminated in quarterfinals
In yesterday's quarterfinals of Snow Sweet Snow 2, four teams were invited to the playoffs. While HAVU, Winstrike, Copenhagen Flames and AGO qualified for the quarterfinals via the Swiss Stage and the "Round of 16", the organizer decided to invite Sprout, Cloud9, Gambit and NiP. The aim is to increase the attractiveness of the tournament and provide the Tier-2 teams with the opportunity to prove themselves against big teams.

However, the expected favorite victories did not take place in yesterday's quarterfinals. All four invited teams had to admit defeat in the battle for the semifinals. Especially surprising were the games between Gambit and Copenhagen Flames, as well as NiP and AGO.
While the Danish team finally prevailed relatively clearly against the Katowice winner after a defeat on the first map, AGO made the sensation perfect on the deciding map Dust2.

At the Snow Sweet Snow 2 both semifinals and finals will take place today. HAVU, Winstrike, Copenhagen Flames and AGO will play for the title and winnings of 40,000 USD. All matches will be broadcast on TEB's channels on Twitch.tv.
