Katowice 2015 Ninjas In Pyjamas – General Team Information

The Swedish organization Ninjas In Pyjamas was stacked with some of the best players to have ever touched this game. Their team for the Katowice 2015 Major tournament was composed of Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg, Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, Richard "Xizt" Landström, Adam "friberg" Friberg, and Aleksi "allu" Jalli. NIP's run at the Spodek Arena started in Group C alongside Keyd Stars, Counter Logic Gaming, and HellRaisers. The opening game was against Keyd Stars on Inferno. It was quite one-sided with only little resistance from Keyd Stars. Hence, NIP emerged victorious with a 16-9 scoreline. In their second match, which was against Counter Logic Gaming, NIP secured another win with a 16-7 on Mirage. This victory guaranteed them the first place in their group and a place in the playoffs.

The tougher part of the tournament was still ahead of them, starting with the quarterfinals BO3 against Team SoloMid. This series went all the way to the third map, where NIP overcame the strong TSM lineup and defeated them 16-12 on Nuke, securing a 2-1 victory and a qualification to the semifinals. Another BO3 awaited them, this time against the French players from Team EnVyUs. In contrast to the game against Team SoloMid, Ninjas In Pyjamas was more composed and collected. They controlled both maps and comfortably advanced to the finals, beating Team EnVyUs 2-0.

The last matchup before a team was lifting the major trophy in Katowice 2015 was set between NIP and Team Fnatic, taking place in the Spodek Arena. Fnatic secured the first map, Dust 2, with a narrow 16-14 victory. The second map was Cache, where NIP made a comeback to win the map 16-10, pushing the finals to the decider map, Inferno. With so much at stake, the team that remained the calmest and most focused emerged victorious. Unfortunately for NIP, this time it was Fnatic. The players from NIP had to be content with a second place finish at the Major, still earning them USD 50,000 in prize pool money and a direct qualification to ESL One Cologne 2015 Major Counter-Strike tournament.

Katowice 2015 Ninjas In Pyjamas (Holo) - Sticker Crafts

In the past eight years, 8,585 Counter-Strike skins have been decorated with one or more Katowice 2015 Ninjas In Pyjamas (Holo) stickers. Among all of these, 6 percent are four or five-time crafts, totaling to 499 skins. We've selected some unique Katowice 2015 NiP crafts that we'd like to share with you. Let us know after you've gone through all of them which one you liked the most.

We'll begin with the AK-47 Phantom Disruptor, which has been crafted ten times so far. One of those crafts is in the inventory of @DuyDoan. The next one is the M249 Aztec, which is not only a one-out-of-one craft, but also a one-out-of-two with four Katowice 2015 NIP (Holo) stickers applied to a M249. @777hef is the current owner of this heavy weapon craft. One weapon that hasn't been utilized as extensively as some others on this list is the AUG. However, that doesn't diminish the number of delightful crafts. As an example, we can present to you the AUG Aristocrat by @quyy112.

One of the pistol skins that pairs wonderfully with the Katowice 2015 NIP (Holo) sticker is the Glock-18 Wasteland Rebel. Currently, seven of these exist, and one of them is owned by the Katowice 2015 collector @TysqiiCS.

The well-known streamer and YouTuber, @anomalyxd, managed to acquire some very unique crafts. Among them is an M4A4 Modern Hunter adorned with NIP stickers. Currently, three of those exist. One of the most beautiful Katowice 2015 NiP SMG crafts is owned by @MrKrakens. We're talking about a MAC-10 Copper Borre, which looks increasingly better the more you look at it – it remains a one-out-of-one craft.

Among the older crafts from the time when the Ninjas In Pyjamas (Holo) sticker was released is the Tec-9 Jambiya. One of these, crafted twice, is owned by @thepeter114. The second one is in the possession of @d1xcs. The final craft we want to showcase is the AWP Hyper Beast owned by @Krieke_CSGO. Unlike the others, this one is particularly captivating as it provides more room for the sticker to stand out.

Writers favorite

The M4A4 Modern Hunter is one of the best main weapon guns I've come across that matches perfectly with the Katowice 2015 Ninjas In Pyjamas Holo sticker. The bright colors blend exceptionally well together. It's also pleasing to see that the sticker is being integrated into new weapon skin crafts. Another skin that didn't receive a spotlight but I hold in high regard is the MP5-SD Gauss owned by @Ganthium.

Conclusion

Even though they didn't emerge as winners of the Katowice 2015 tournament, Ninjas In Pyjamas left an indelible mark with their performance. They are undoubtedly one of those teams that can be discussed endlessly.
