The second last day of IEM Cologne 2023! Today the four semi-finalists will battle out the spots for the grand final. We will see Vitality take on ENCE in the first game of the day, while G2 and Astralis meet each other in the evening game.
Vitality vs. ENCE
Two of the favorites for the title, going into the event, managed to showcase great performances coming into the semis. The three maps were Mirage, Nuke and Vertigo. Overall both teams looked great on the first two maps which also could be seen on the scoreline. Both maps ended with 16:14, while ENCE managed to win Mirage. The deciding map, Vertigo, was not so close anymore, with ENCE taking a commanding lead which also resulted in a 16:7 victory. G2 vs. Astralis
The evening game is live! Time to find out who will face ENCE in the grand final on Sunday. The matchup started with a strong showing by G2 on the map pick of Astralis, Anubis. Although the Danes tried their best to resist G2, the international mixed team was just too strong, winning map one with 16:12. The second map of Inferno and also pick of G2 was even more dominant. The Kovač cousins didn't leave Astralis a chance on their home ground and advanced to the finals after a solid 16:9 map win.
