Decision games
Today, Thursday, there will be three deciding matches at Flashpoint 3. While mousesports and G2 compete in the upper-final for the entry into the grand final, Heroic and NiP will play in the lower-final. The winner of this duel is going to play against the loser between mousesports and G2 for the second spot in the final. The match between Complexity and Sprout will be for the tenth place.
Game 1: mousesports vs. G2
Both teams are undefeated so far at Flashpoint and won their first three duels. Both mousesports and G2 had a difficult start into the new year and lineup changes behind them. While dexter had difficulties showing up individually and integrating new strategies into the lineup at mouz in the beginning, it was especially the redistribution of the AWP role to AmaNEk that helped G2 to get back into better shape. NiKo and huNter- are currently showing sensational performances as riflers and that's exactly what G2 needs to be able to compete consistently against the top teams. Between mousesports and G2, the odds favor the team around IGL nexa by a narrow margin. All in all, the spectators can expect a sensational opening match on day 14 of Flashpoint.
Game 2: Complexity vs. Sprout
After both teams could win one match each in the placement bracket, the consolidations final will be played today for the 10th place. While Sprout had a great tournament all in all, beating both FaZe and Anonymo, Complexity had another disappointing tournament all in all. The team lost six of their last eight duels and only won against fnatic and Anonymo. Little is currently going according to plan for the European mixed team. Even though the odds between Complexity and Sprout clearly favor the team around IGL blameF, the match will be anything but one-sided.
Game 3: Heroic vs. NiP
The evening match will feature the second big duel of the day. Between Heroic and NiP the odds favor one team clearly. Both teams had to admit defeat in the upper bracket and are now playing for elimination again after the victories in yesterday's games against Astralis and BIG. While NiP is playing a great first tournament together with dev1ce, Heroic is in top form since several weeks and therefore the favorite in this duel. The team around IGL cadiaN lost only a few games since the new signings of sjuush and refrezh.
