First elimination matches
Today the first elimination matches at Flashpoint 3 take place. With Vitality, OG, Complexity and fnatic four top teams of the last year play for elimination at the first RMR event.
Game 1: Vitality vs. OG
While Vitality more than surprisingly lost against the French mixed team DBL PONEY on the first match day, OG had to admit defeat against Astralis. The French top team of the last year did not find back to old form in the new season. The new signing of Kyojin instead of RpK did not bring the desired success so far. OG played few matches in the last weeks and came to the first RMR event with new signing flameZ and big expectations. In their first duel, however, the team eventually lost 2-0 to Astralis, but still showed a solid performance. Between Vitality and OG, the odds clearly favor the European mixed team around Aleksib.
Game 2: Complexity vs. fnatic
While Complexity started the new year relatively well, but lost the last four duels in a row, fnatic is currently far away from the top of the world. New signing Jackinho is showing solid performances for the Swedes alongside Brollan, but KRMIZ, JW and Golden have not arrived in 2021 so far. Between Complexity and fnatic, the odds clearly favor the team around blameF and this is mainly due to fnatic's weak performance in the opening match against mousesports and the clear defeat in the tier-2 event Spring Sweet Spring 1 against EPG Family.
