Eight teams play for the title
A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament in Europe. While Virtus.Pro, BIG and Complexity are the three biggest teams, Extra Salt qualified for the tournament via the American qualifier, HAVU and forZe via the European one. Evil Geniuses and Dignitas will also be playing. All games will still take place online and as bo3. The total prize money is 250.000 USD and the event will be played in double-elimination format.
Game 1: Virtus.Pro vs. forZe
Virtus.Pro should win clearly in the duel of the Russian teams. ForZe also showed good performances in the past months and is getting closer to the Tier-1 scene, but is currently not in its best form.
Game 2: Complexity vs. HAVU
The second duel of today would have the potential to be an exciting one! Although Complexity should be the clear favorite on paper, HAVU showed great performances in recent weeks and could well surprise. For both teams, it will depend a lot on the condition of the day. Complexity should be the clear winner on a good day.
