IEM Cologne is always a gathering for the Counter-Strike skin community. Many enthusiasts travel to Cologne for the 4th to 6th of August in order to witness some of the best CS. IEM just recently reveiled the full lineup for the event, consisting of 24 teams.
Date and Structure of the event
The event will start on the 26th of July with the Play-in Stage, where 16 teams compete against each other for eight spots in the Group Stage, which starts on the 29th of July. The top-6 will advance to the Playoffs and compete on the main stage of the LANXESS arena between the 4th and 6th of August.
Competing Teams + Prize Pool
So, who qualified for Cologne 2023? You can see all the participants and their path to qualification right below in the picture. The eight teams qualified for the Group Stage are: G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, Team Vitality, ENCE, Heroic, Cloud9, Natus Vincere and GamerLegion. All 24 teams will compete for a total prize pool of USD 1,000,000, while the winner takes home USD 400,000!
