Mythical Tempest Family - Best CS2 Workshop Submissions

Is this the best Workshop Family submitted in CS2?

Topic: Mythical Tempest Family - Best CS2 Workshop Submissions

Today, we are looking at three Workshop submissions that came to our attention - the "Mythical Tempest" family. The skin was submitted on three guns: the Desert Eagle, the AWP, and the M4A1-S. It stands out with a flashy, modern, but abstract design that we fell in love with.

The skins are themed around red dragons that rise from the sea and are showcased in a rather minimalistic way across the weapons.

Desert Eagle | Mythical Tempest

Let's first look at the Desert Eagle Mythical Tempest. The design was done significantly with the dragon rising from the handle, where the sea is placed. When looking closely, you can also see the dragon's tail coming out on the front of the skin.

M4A1-S | Mythical Tempest

The M4A1-S Mythical Tempest features one dragon whose serpents are visualized to show on the front of the weapon while the dragon also builds the center of the skin. The Mythical Tempest Family is one of the skins you will have a hard time covering any of the great artwork with stickers, but that's where the custom sticker positioning update might come in handy.

AWP | Mythical Tempest

Last but not least, for our Workshop Submissions showcase today is the AWP Mythical Tempest. Together with the Desert Eagle, it is one of the two best-looking ones from that collection, in my opinion. The lengthiness of the AWP makes it a perfect underground for the beautiful artwork that feels so right when seeing it applied to our big green.

A few words by the author

I'm fascinated by mythical creatures, and I've always wanted to create some kind of mythical creature as a skin. I find dragons particularly interesting and wanted to create a kind of water serpent as a skin. I first chose the Desert Eagle and later the M4A1-S and AWP as weapons, especially with the last two it was important to me that the skin should look a little dynamic, and accordingly, this creature winds along the weapon model and makes waves. The skin should combine a raging sea, mythical creatures and a bit of mythology. I'm delighted that the skin has been so well received!
