Katowice 2015 Fnatic – General Team Information

Coming into the Katowice 2015 Major, Fnatic was considered one of the biggest favorites due to the form they had prior to this tournament. I am sure that you know many of the players who were part of the Fnatic roster back then: Robin "flusha" Rönnquist, Jesper "JW" Wecksell, Markus "pronax" Wallsten, Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson, and Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson. Completing the Swedish team was Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg, who served as their coach.

Fnatic opened up the Major in the Spodek Arena, placed in Group A alongside Natus Vincere, Vox Eminor, and FlipSid3 Tactics. The opening match was against Vox Eminor. Fnatic dominated the first game of the tournament and won after only 19 rounds, closing Inferno with a 16-3 score. The second match was against Natus Vincere. This was the "winners match", deciding which team would secure the first spot in the group and hence direct qualification to the playoffs. Once again, Fnatic showed their dominance with a convincing 16-7 win on Cobblestone, securing first place in Group A.

In the quarterfinals BO3, they faced PENTA Sports. Starting on Inferno, Fnatic secured map one 16-8 without any problems. The following map was Cache, which as many expected, went once again in favor of Fnatic, moving them to the semifinals of the Katowice 2015 Major.

Compared to their previous games in the tournament, the semifinal was one of the harder ones for the Swedish team as their opponent on the other side of the server was Virtus.pro. The opening map was on Cobblestone. It went the distance, even needing overtime to decide a winner. A close 19-17 victory for Fnatic put them yet again in the lead in the series, one map away from the grand finals. The next map was Mirage, and after only 24 rounds, 60 minutes of playtime, and a great offensive half, Fnatic became the first grand finalist.

The toughest game of the tournament was the grand finals against Ninjas In Pyjamas, deciding the Counter-Strike Major champion of Katowice 2015. Map one was already a close affair, but Dust 2 went in favor of Fnatic with a 16-14 score. This map showed that everyone watching was in for a treat, with two of the best teams clashing for the biggest trophy. The second map proved that Ninjas In Pyjamas were in the finals for a reason, bouncing back and winning Cache 16-10. The last map of the tournament was Inferno. Just like the other maps, this one was really close. In the end, the better team took home the title - that team being Fnatic. They defeated NIP 16-13, winning them the Major trophy and granting them Champion status.

With the victory, they secured USD 100,000 and a direct qualification to ESL One Cologne 2015. Furthermore, Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson was named the MVP of the Major tournament.

Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) - Sticker Supply

Sticker supply is always an interesting topic to discuss. Just like with many other stickers, obtaining the correct supply of tradable Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) stickers can be challenging. Various factors come into play, such as private Steam profiles and storage units.

As of now, there are 73 stickers listed on Buff163, 6 on Skinport, and 24 on the Steam Community Market that are available for purchase. If you're interested in learning more about the available sticker supply on different marketplaces, I recommend checking out the EsportFire Database.

Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) - Price Trend/Development

We can see that the first proper price jump with Katowice 2015 stickers happened during May 2019. Just like the other Katowice 2015 (holo) stickers, the Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) sticker experienced an increase from USD 15 to USD 30. This increase marked the beginning of a larger and faster price development. The highest the sticker has ever reached was USD 250. With Valve giving CS2 access to more players, the price recently spiked again to around USD 240. Currently, the cheapest one can be found on Buff163 for USD 207, while previous sales were in the range of USD 185 to USD 200. With a high quantity available, the price difference isn't as significant when compared to some other team stickers. The estimated price for a new four-time craft would therefore be in the USD 740 to USD 800 range.

Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) - Sticker Crafts

High demand for the Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) sticker is evident in the total number of stickers that have been applied to skins. Currently, there are 10,004 skins with at least one sticker applied to them. Out of these 10,004 skins, 850 of them feature four or five-time crafts, accounting for 9% of the overall supply of Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) sticker crafts. With such a substantial quantity of crafts, there are many that are unique in their own way. Therefore, I would like to share some of them with you.

Starting with the FAMAS Commemoration, a four-time craft created by @RadiantCS_ in April of 2022. This craft is also noteworthy for having the lowest float value among four-time crafts with the Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) sticker, boasting a Factory New condition with a float value of 0.000006.

Moving on, there is @Tea__With__Milk's Negev Power Loader. This craft is a one-out-of-three and has been in his inventory for over six years now. It's interesting to observe that the majority of these crafts are on skins with a yellow color tone, which isn't too surprising given how impressive these crafts appear.

@LiamFCSGO showcases this with his M4A4 Daybreak, which has been crafted seven times. One less common weapon that doesn't receive as much attention when it comes to crafting is the MAC-10. However, @ChinchillaisGod has a one-out-of-one craft that looks exceptionally well in-game, with the skin in question being the MAC-10 Amber Fade from the Mirage collection.

A particularly eye-catching MP9 craft is the MP9 Rose Iron in Factory New, which is also a one-out-of-one. Currently, it can be found on @Skinport. Given that the Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) sticker is quite an old sticker, it's not surprising to find numerous similar vintage crafts. An example of this is the M4A4 Asiimov, which exists in 23 instances. One of these M4A4 crafts is currently owned by @KirmirCS.

Several other crafts can be found within the Counter-Strike community. For instance, there's the AK-47 Legion of Anubis, a one-out-of-one craft held by @Bastert55, and the Souvenir SSG 08 Death Strike owned by @dushfack.

Writers favorite

I would say that the Katowice 2015 Fnatic (Holo) sticker is one of the better ones from this tournament collection. It complements a wide range of skins, and the crafts look truly impressive. Among the ones I've highlighted, my personal favorite would be the Negev Power Loader from @Tea__With__Milk. I'm also a big fan of the M4A4 Daybreak crafted by @LiamFCSGO.

Additionally, there are some other crafts I haven't showcased, but I encourage you to try them out in the game. For instance, the CZ75-Auto Yellow Jacket crafted by Steam user "我比你牛 NoDrip" and the AWP Desert Hydra crafted by Steam user "宾TvT" are worth exploring.

Conclusion

When you have a team consistently at the top level in every tournament, it's expected to discuss them thoroughly. Fnatic continues to demonstrate this year after year, and the 2015 Katowice Major was no exception. I hope you enjoyed this in-depth coverage of the 2015 Katowice Fnatic (Holo) sticker an the teams tournament run, and I am looking forward sharing upcoming Sticker Spotlight articles with you.
