On the first day of the event, matches went along as expected. With rosters that have been together and practicing taking wins over weaker, and less established squads. University teams like Texas A&M, Davenport University, Michigan State, and UW-Irvine started with hot 2-0 starts, easily handling the competition.

Notably, Davenport; the runner-up in the Collegiate Starleague, had an exceedingly excellent start with convincing wins over MMFC, and CU Boulder, thrashing both teams. Another strong, yet relatively unknown roster, Highlander Gaming came out the gates running. The Highlanders destroyed both their first two opponents, giving up just five rounds total in their two matches. With day one concluded everything was as it should be. Teams expected to win did just that, winning.

Expected Reults, And Surprising Outcomes

With the matches that took place on day two, spectators had nothing short of a spectacle. Highlander Gaming continued their reign of dominance with two more impressive wins over strong competition. Along with the California-based college, Davenport showed why they made it to the CSL finals, easily getting past Fear No One, and BoilerCS. Irvine also showed their strength beating out Covert Wolves, but looked rather shaky, just squeaking past DOOMSDAY 2.0, winning with a 16-13 scoreline.

Regardless of the great games, the most exciting moment of the night was the upset between Michigan State and InquityUniversity. The game was set with the expectation of a win for Michigan, however, Inquity had other plans. Coming away with a 16-8 win Iniquity was dominant making the well-established Michigan State look rather weak.
