Everything about the new project
Today we would like to introduce our latest project, the EsportFire World Ranking. From now on, we will update this ranking after every big tournament and publish it on our website. On the site, we implemented the ranking on "Home" and it will be displayed in a top 10 format. However, the official publications on social media will only include the current top six teams.

Facts
The first ranking was created after the BLAST Global Finals and thus on 24.01.2021. The basis for the first publication is the entire year 2020, in which each team collected points depending on their success in the respective tournaments. The ranking puts special focus on the recent events and is intended to show a real-time form curve of the teams.
Ranking 24.01.2021
In the first official EsportFire ranking of the year, Astralis edged out NAVI in the battle for first place, despite their final loss at BLAST. The Danish top team still benefits from their successes at the end of last year. Due to their loss in the Consolidations final and their underperformance in the IEM Global Challenge, Vitality slips to third place just behind NAVI.
Liquid's improvement over the past few tournaments is rewarded with a fourth place in the ranking. With a minimal gap, BIG secured fifth place. Unfortunately, the German top team was not represented at the BLAST Global Finals and was therefore not able to collect many points in the new year. In the battle for the sixth place, G2 prevailed against FURIA.
Explanations
The world ranking calculation is based on various factors, especially the winning rates at top events play a significant role. However, the standing is not based on the personal assessment/opinion of an author, but is calculated using a fixed procedure and is based on facts and figures!
We would like to thank you for your support and we are looking forward to a successful new year.
