Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo was born on 05/30/1991 in Brazil and is one of the most experienced Counter-Strike players in history. His roles are Main-Awp and IGL. Already since 2005, the current 29-year-old has been active in numerous teams.
In 2012 Gabriel founded his own Esport organization called "Game Academy" in which he himself never played. The organization is committed to promoting the South American esports scene and has already organized numerous tournaments.
FalleN already played in Counter-Strike, but also Counter-Strike: Source teams, before he switched to his first CS:GO team. His total tournament earnings are estimated to be around $1 million.
Gabriel uses Twitter as well as Instagram and Facebook very regularly. He also streams on his Twitch channel with around 1.1 million followers on a frequent basis. Gabriel has been dating LetÃcia for several years and got engaged in mid-November.
FalleN - Career
Gabriel started his career with the Brazilian organization crashers, where he was under contract for about a year. From 2006 to 2011 he regularly played for Counter-Strike: Source teams as well. His first well known organization was Complexity Gaming, where he played in 2010 & 2011. At that time he was signed by Complexity along with fnx, BIT, nak and bruno coming from the team "FireGamers".
A little later than most players FalleN got into CS:GO. He joined his first team "playArt" at the beginning of 2013 and played with some well-known players like fer, kNg and fnx. After numerous transfers, FalleN moved to Keyd Stars in 2015, with whom he participated in the Katowice 2015 Major.
Probably the two most successful stations of his career were those at Luminosity Gaming and SK Gaming. The two Brazilian organizations FalleN led not only as IGL, but also with his incredible skills as main-AWP. During this period, Gabriel won two Major events and numerous top tournaments.
In 2018, FalleN decided to embark on a new career path along with his team. MIBR was newly formed and took over the Immortals brand. With numerous player changes, the organization failed to achieve any real notable tournament success.
After about two years with MIBR, fer, TACO and dead were benched. FalleN, however, did not agree with this decision and also resigned from the team himself. For Gabriel the next big step of his career was about to start. On 09.01.2021 FalleN was signed by Team Liquid
as the new fifth player.
FalleN - Achievements
Gabriel participated in his first S-Tier event back in 2009. His first major event was Katowice 2015, in which he participated with Keyd Stars, as already mentioned above. In total FalleN played in 11 majors and managed to win two of them. The Brazilian won a Major title with both Luminosity Gaming and SK Gaming in 2016.
At the MLG Major Columbus 2016 the team defeated NAVI
with 2:0, at the ESL One: Cologne 2016 they defeated Team Liquid
. The biggest successes in terms of prize money, apart from the Majors, were wins at EPICENTER 2017 and Esports Championships Season 3. In his time with SK, he won a total of six big tournaments.
In addition to his great team successes, Gabriel was named Personality of the Year at the eSports Industry Awards in 2016 and finished second in the HLTV Rankings in his sensational year of 2016. In 2017, he was in the HLTV Top-20 for another time.
