Nicolai "device" Reedtz was born on September 8, 1995 in Denmark. His team role is "Awp" and in Counter Strike he has been active as a professional since Source, starting his career back in 2011 at the age of 16.

His total prize money is estimated at around 1.9 million USD, making Nicolai one of the most successful professionals of all time. In addition to numerous major achievements and titles, dev1ce is characterized above all by his friendly and calm manner.

device - Career

The Danish star player was active at Astralis since 2016 and part of the most successful CS:GO team in history til he decided to transfer to NiP. His Counter Strike Global Offensive career began with Copenhagen Wolves, where he already played in Source times. There he met Xyp9x and dupreeh, with whom he has been playing together since 2013.

Together with his two teammates he changed over Dignitas to Team SoloMid and later the lineup consisting of dupreeh, Xyp9x, dev1ce, cajunb and karrgian decided to found Team Questionmark (TQM), which laid the groundwork for the later Astralis.

Currently we are in 2016 and IGL gla1ve joined the team after karrigan moved to FaZe . The foundation for the most successful CS:GO team in history was laid.

device - Achievements

Device has already won four Major tournaments in his career with victories at the ELEAGE Major: Atlanta 2017, the FACEIT Major: London 2018, the IEM Katowice 2019 and the StarLadder Major: Berlin 2019, making him the record holder along with dupreeh, Xyp9x and gla1ve.

What sets the star player apart from his peers, however, are a total of 10 individual MVP awards, two of them at Major tournaments. Furthermore, device has been listed in the top 5 players of the HLTV Rankings for five consecutive years.

Given his great individual achievements, combined with the fact that he led Astralis , along with his team, to the best team of all time and four Major triumphs, device can arguably call himself the best player in history.

On 23.04.2021 a big surprise for the whole CS:GO community. NiP announced the signing of the Danish superstar. Thus, the Dane, who lives in Sweden anyway, has turned his back on Astralis and his old teammates and is starting a new project with NiP.
