Biography

NOTE: The player section is a bit outdated! Information could have changed! We will try to update the articles as soon as possible, thanks for understanding!

Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen was born on 28.05.1998 and has been an active CS:GO player since 2015. His role in the team is entry fragger and the currently 22-year-old (as of Jan. 2021) mainly plays rifle.

He started his career with the Greek organization "Team Refuse" and has already had a few transfers. Since the beginning of 2020 he is active in the current Heroic lineup and had probably the most successful time of his career this year. His total prize money is estimated at around 200,000 USD. The Dane developed into a real star player under IGL CadiaN and is a major reason for Heroic's great success in 2020.

The Dane uses his social media little to not at all. While he gives updates on game results on his Twitter account and thus keeps his subscribers up to date on everything CS:GO relevant, he is very inactive on his Instagram profile. He hasn't used his Twitch account with around 2000 followers for months and apparently doesn't plan to do so in the future.

niko - Career

As mentioned above, he started his career at Team Refuse, where he already played together with his current teammate b0RUP back in 2015. A little later, the two young Danes parted ways and Nikolaj switched to Revival Gaming. After stations at Alpha Gaming and tRICKED eSport, niko joined Heroic for the first time in 2016. At that time he was signed after gla1ve moved to Astralis. At that time, the Dane Snappi was IGL at the team.

For about two years Nikolaj played at Heroic before he was first loaned to North and shortly after moved to OpTic Gaming. On March 28, 2019, he was signed by the American organization and was under contract for a total of about a year.

In early 2020, Heroic released es3tag and Snappi after the failed deal with FunPlus Phoenix. A little later, TeSes was signed by Copenhagen Flames and Nikolaj by OpTic Gaming. Thus, the Dane was back with his long-time organization and should play a great season in the coming year.

niko - Achievements

Niko took part in his first S-Tier event at the end of 2016. At that time he played together with Heroic at the Intel Extreme Masters XI - Oakland and finished 9-10th. His first and so far only major participation at the FACEIT Major: London 2018 with North was not very successful.

With Heroic, Nikolaj was able to celebrate some great successes in 2020. In addition to tournament wins at DreamHack Open Fall, ESL One: Cologne and LOOT.BET Season 6, he and his team reached the first place of the HLTV Rankings in the meantime.
