Håvard "rain" Nygaard was born on 27.08.1994 in Norway and is currently 26 years old. Before he was signed by Kinguin in 2015, rain was about to retire. Two years later, he was named the 4th best player of the year by HLTV.

The Norwegian is very inactive on his Twitch channel with around 50,000 followers, on which he hasn't streamed for eight months, as well as on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Håvard's total tournament winnings are estimated at around $760,000 USD, which is quite respectable in his roughly seven years as an active player. In addition to two MVP titles, rain has had numerous tournament successes, but more on that in a moment.

Håvard has known his girlfriend Sonya for more than five years. Sonya started streaming on the Twitch platform back in 2014 and has around 230,000 followers there. For some time now, however, she has been rather inactive on both Twitch and her social media.

Since the beginning, rain has been particularly known for his high headshot rate. Together with his long-time teammate Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, he tops the list for the all-time most headshots recorded.

rain - Career

Håvard's career began in 2013 with the Norwegian team partyastronauts. In the next two years rain has changed teams five times and was signed by Kinguin in the middle of 2015. The decision to form the team together with Maikelele, SKYTTEN, ScreaM and fox was the turning point of his career. Around five months later, Team Kinguin transitioned into G2.Kinguin and was bought out by FaZe Clan at the beginning of the 2016 season for a sum of 700,000 USD.

The organization, best known for COD, thus entered CS:GO and became a solid force at the top of the world. Rain is the only player of the founding team that still plays for FaZe Clan nowadays and has a central leadership role.

To this day, the Norwegian consistently performs well and will continue to work hard to bring FaZe Clan back to the top 5.

rain - Achievements

His first participation in a CS:GO Major tournament was in 2014 and during his time with London Conspiracy. Eleven more major tournaments followed, the most successful of which was a second place at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston. In the final match with Cloud9, rain and Co. had to admit defeat in early 2018.

Håvard's list of tournament successes is packed. The biggest success for rain in terms of prize money was the victory at the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017. In 2018, FaZe celebrated a total of four S-Tier successes. The biggest defeat of his career so far was definitely in the Major final with Cloud9. With 19:22 FaZe lost the third map Inferno at that time.
