Robin "ropz" Kool was born on 22.12.1999 in Estonia and currently plays for Mousesports as Rifle and Lurker. Especially his calm nature and his constantly high individual level distinguish Robin. The current 21-year-old started his career in 2016 with the team OnlineBOTS and was named as one of the great upcoming talents by NiKo in 2017.
His tournament earnings are estimated at around $500,000 USD. We will get to his numerous tournament but also individual successes later. On his Twitter and Instagram account, ropz is very active and regularly posts both private and CS:GO related posts.
He has been playing CS:GO for eleven years and started with CS 1.6. In his home country there is a very small CS:GO scene, which is why qualifying for the FPL was the first step towards becoming a pro player for Robin. His Twitch account with around 150,000 followers is very inactive.
ropz - Career
His first team in 2016 was "OnlineBOTS". The Estonian organization played in numerous C-Tier tournaments. Before he started his cs-career, he was also a Call of Duty content creator for "Horizon".
At the beginning of 2017 Robin moved to Mousesports and replaced the German Spiidi. After chrisJ, ropz is the second longest still active player in the lineup of Mouz and has been convincing with his consistently good performance for years.
He participated in his first S-Tier tournament in 2017 and thus shortly after the transfer to Mousesports. In total, ropz already played in four Major tournaments, his first participation being the PGL Major in Krakow 2017, where he played together with chirsJ, denis, oskar and loWel and finished 12th-14th.
ropz - Achievements
His biggest success at a major tournament so far was a fifth place at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018, where he was eliminated with his team in the quarterfinals against FaZe. All in all, however, Robin has been able to celebrate numerous individual as well as team successes in his career. Since 2018, he has been represented annually in the HLTV Top-20 Ranking and was awarded MVP at the ESL Pro League Season 10.
His biggest team successes are probably winning the CS:GO Asia Championship and ESL Pro League at the end of 2019. Furthermore, he won the V4 Future Sports Festival with Mousesports and in 2020 the ICE Challenge 2020.
