.
After an extremely successful time with ENCE
, he was kicked off the team after the Berlin Major. At the end of 2019, the Finn had numerous offers open to him, one of which was from Complexity
, who were forming a new lineup at the time.
Aleksi uses his social media very inactively. While he only provides updates on the latest game results on his Twitter account, he uses Instagram very irregularly, but posts more private things there. The young Finn has been dating his girlfriend for about two years, but she tries to remain as anonymous as possible.
Aleksi's tournament earnings are estimated at around 300,000 USD, most of which comes from his time at ENCE and the particularly successful year 2019. More about his career and successes in a moment.
Aleksib - Career
Aleksib started his career in 2015 and at the Finnish organization Recursive eSports. Together with three teammates he transferred to the organization "No.Identity" after only five months of playing. This was followed by short stints with the teams SkitLite Gaming and Findictus, before he was signed by ENCE
and thus his first well-known organization together with his teammate arvid in August 2016.
However, the adventure ended soon after. ENCE
decided to release their lineup a little later. The team switched to the ENCORE organization, which was originally founded in 2014, after ENCE also dismissed their roster at that time. Via HAVU Gaming, where Aleksi was under contract for about a year and was able to further improve and gain experience, the path led back to ENCE
in early 2018.
After a rebranding and a new partnership with the Finnish field hockey club Lahden Pelicans, they signed segej, Aerial and xseveN in addition to Aleksib. The fifth player was allu, who previously signed a two-year contract to rebuild the team. However, after great successes and joining the world's best, the project ultimately failed and Aleksi moved to OG
at the end of 2019.
The Danish esports organization, who is sponsored by RedBull among others, is best known for its Dota 2 team and decided to enter the well-known strategy shooter CS:GO in 2019. The first year did not quite go according to plan, despite some good performances, the team was unable to record any tournament success.
Aleksib - Achievements
Despite his relatively late entry into CS:GO, Aleksi has already had some great successes. The Finn participated in his first S-Tier tournament in 2018, when he played ESL One: Cologne 2018 with ENCE
.
Already at his first major appearance at IEM Katowice 2019, he and his team took a more than surprising second place. Even a clear defeat in the final against Astralis
should not diminish the success. ENCE
had arrived at the top of the world.
Aleksi played his second major tournament at StarLadder Berlin mid 2019, but only finished 5-8th. The biggest success for the Finn in terms of prize money was a second place at Flashpoint Season 2 at the end of 2020. In a thrilling final match, they had to admit defeat to Virtus.Pro and narrowly missed out on the main prize of 500,000 USD. Furthermore, Aleksib won the BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019 and the DreamHack Open Winter 2018.
