François "AmaNEk" Delaunay is a French CS:GO player who is currently signed to G2. The 27-year-old plays Rifle and takes over the support role within the team. Since the beginning of 2019, the Frenchman has been playing at G2 Esports and still tries to achieve his first big tournament successes together with his teammates.

François is so far without a very significant tournament victory. His total prize money is estimated at around 320,000 USD and his team career began in 2015.

AmaNEk rarely uses his social media and only has a Twitter and Instagram account. On his Insta profile, the Frenchman likes to post portraits, both from lan-events as well as from private-events. On Twitter, he keeps his approximately 25,000 followers up to date on CS:GO-related topics.

AmaNEk - Career

AmaNEk played his first tournaments in 2015 and with Team Minlate. He was under contract with the organization for about a year before being signed by Swiss team Red Instinct in early 2016. Together with the French lineup, François competed in numerous C-Tier events over the next six months.

In September 2016, his time with the team came to an end and AmaNEk transferred between several lineups in the coming months. The first longer stay came with Misfits Gaming, who signed the Frenchman in early 2017. At the North American organization, he played together with ShahZam, among others, and was already able to win a first B-tier event. At that time, he also participated in the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 together with his team.

After the Major tournament, however, the lineup decided to go separate ways. Together with devoduvek, François moved to LDLC. He played for the French organization for about a year and participated in another S-Tier event at IEM XIII - Chicago. At that time he played together with the later Vitality IGL ALEX, among others.

After a period of about three months without a team, François was signed by G2 Esports in early 2019, where he replaced bodyy at that time. After kennyS , AmaNEk is now the second-longest-serving member of the active roster.

AmaNEk - Achievements

François first participation in an S-Tier event was in 2017 and at ESL Pro League Season 5. As mentioned above, AmaNEk played his first Major in 2018 and with LDLC. Together with G2 , the Frenchman participated in the StarLadder Berlin Major in 2019.

The first huge tournament success is still to come for François. The biggest successes in terms of prize money were a win at the Champions Cup Finals and a second place at the IEM XIV - World Championship in 2020. In 2021, it managed to reach the final at the IEM Cologne. However, the team was beaten 3-0 by NAVI in the final.
