Biography

NOTE: The player section is a bit outdated! Information could have changed! We will try to update the articles as soon as possible, thanks for understanding!

Benjamin "blameF" Bremer was born on 10/06/1997 and is a Danish CS:GO player who has been actively playing since 2015. His role is IGL and he is currently under contract with Complexity Gaming. A great starting year 2020 with the Organisation was overshadowed by a transfer and health issues at the end of the year for the mixed team.

The 23-year-old has developed into an absolute world-class player over the past two years, leading Complexity to victory in the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Finals as IGL, his first S-Tier success. Overall, his prize money is estimated to be around $150,000 USD.

In particular, Benjamin uses Twitter quite actively to keep his community up to date. However, the 23-year-old (as of 01.2021) does not only focus on updates about the last games, but also shares general thoughts. On his Instagram account, he posts new updates rather irregularly, but uses the Story function frequently. On his Twitch channel, the Dane likes to stream during periods without games.

blameF - Career

Benjamin started his career in 2015, where he participated in tournaments together with the team "Savage Gaming". With different lineups he played his first C-Tier tournaments in 2016 & 2017 before his career really kicked off in 2018. At first blameF already played and won two C-Tier events with team Great Danes, before he transferred to his first well-known organization at the end of the year.

The Dane was under contract with the traditional Belgian team Epsilon Esports for about four months and played his first B-tier events. At that time, the mixed team consisted of Surreal, CRUC1AL, FejtZ, miNd and blameF. In mid-January 2019, the Dane's continuously strong performances were rewarded with an offer from Heroic , which Benjamin accepted. During his time with the Danish top team, blameF was also IGL for the first time, replacing MODDII.

He was under contract with Heroic for about a year and gained valuable experience against the world's best teams. However, a first bigger tournament success was still missing during this time. The next step in Benjamin's career was his move to Complexity Gaming in September 2019, when he was signed at the same time as RUSH and was about to define a new era at the American organization.

Along with k0nfig, poizon, oBo and RUSH, the team grew into a title contender and blameF into one of the best IGLs as well as individual players in the world. The great performances were rewarded with a win at the BLAST Spring Finals and a $335,000 USD in prize money. All in all, a great year for the young team, which was somewhat overshadowed towards the end by health problems on the part of poizon and the transfer of oBo.

blameF - Achievements

In his first S-Tier event, blameF participated in mid-2019 and with Heroic . At that time he played at the Intel Extreme Masters XIV in Sydney and finished 13-16th with his team. The young Dane has not yet participated in a major tournament and will not get the first chance to do so until the end of 2021 at the earliest.

Besides four wins at the HomeSweetHome Cup, the biggest team success was the already mentioned victory at the BLAST Fall Finals. In addition to numerous other good tournament placements, one individual award in particular stood out for Benjamin in 2020. Namely, in the HLTV Ranking of the Year, the young Dane finished in sixth place. A great success for a young superstar. Benjamin still has a successful career ahead of him and will continue to improve in the coming years.
