Casper "cadiaN" Møller was born on 26.06.1995 and has been playing CS:GO professionally since 2013. His total tournament earnings are estimated at around USD 180,000.
In terms of social media, he is quite inactive, especially on Instagram
and Facebook, but the 25-year-old uses Twitter regularly. His roles in the team are main-AWP and IGL. Especially since his time at Heroic
, the Dane has been doing a great job.
Otherwise, quite little is known about his private life and Casper tends to keep his private environment out of social media. Some posts with his mother indicate a close relationship to her. Numerous posts also show that he enjoys going out with friends in the evening and eating quality food.
cadiaN - Career
The Dane started his career with the Norwegian team OXzone in mid-2013 and was signed up by Team AGENT together with aizy and robiin about five months later. A few days later, however, the team was bought out by the Danish organisation Xapso. With this lineup, Casper participated in his first Major, DreamHack Winter 2013, and was signed by his first well-known organisation, Mousesports
, a little later.
From that point on, cadiaN was contracted to numerous different teams. His first extended stay, lasting around two years, was with Team Rogue. The time he spent with the American organisation was marked by numerous participations in qualifying tournaments. The highlight of this time was another Major appearance at the FACEIT Major: London 2018, which the team finished in 20th place and was eliminated by North
.
However, the name North would make a lasting mark on cadiaN.
Immediately after the Major participation, the Dane was signed by North
as a replacement for IGL MSL. With a couple of wins against big teams like Vitality
and NAVI
, the Danish Tier-2 team showed up internationally. However, in mid-2019, cadiaN stepped down from the active lineup and was replaced by JUGi.
As part of a major reorganisation by the Danish organisation Heroic and the sale of IGL blameF, they decided on cadiaN as his successor. Together with four young Danish players, Casper made the big breakthrough in 2020. Numerous tournament successes and a first place in the HLTV ranking are the achievements of the year. CadiaN succeeded in forming a top team, from inexperienced, young players, which is both individually and tactically on a very high level.
cadiaN - Achievements
Casper took part in a total of four major tournaments in his career, but the big breakthrough for the currently 25-year-old (as of Dec. 2020) happend in 2020. The Danes were already able to record their first successes at the end of 2019. For example, Heroic
managed a victory at the DreamHack Open Atlanta in the final match with Sprout
.
A few second places and successful qualifications were followed by the first big success in August 2020. In the final match against Vitality
, the team led by IGL cadiaN won the ESL One: Cologne 2020 - Europe and 150,000 USD in prize money.
Furthermore, Heroic finished the ESL Pro League Season 12 in third place and won another tournament against Vitality
at the DreamHack Open Fall. All in all, the young team of Heroic
and cadiaN have found each other and Casper has created a top team thanks to his great mentality and his skills as an IGL.
