Biography

NOTE: The player section is a bit outdated! Information could have changed! We will try to update the articles as soon as possible, thanks for understanding!

Dzhami "Jame" Ali is a Russian CS:GO player who first appeared on the CS:GO scene in 2017. At that time he played for the team Hala Ares. The currently 22-year-old (as of Jan. 2021) played with AVANGARS in a total of three major tournaments, but especially the Berlin Major, which took place at the end of 2019, should leave a lasting mark on him.

In addition to a second place the playstil of his team coined the term "Jametime", which gave the young Russian player a big hype. After barely three years in the professional CS:GO scene, everyone already knew Jame. On his social media, Dzhami is practically inactive, despite the great attention around his person at the end of 2019. There are only two posts on his Twitter account and his Twitch channel with 31,000 followers is not very active either.

While he doesn't even have a Facebook profile, Instagram probably represents his favorite social media. He posts private pictures on this platform from time to time and keeps his nearly 30,000 followers up to date.

In an interview at the end of 2020, Jame said that at some point he even regretted not having made use of his worldwide attention to build up a large fan base on the various social media platforms. In terms of sports, however, Jame is not only a leader and team captain, but also individually on a very high level. In his roughly three years, the Russian has earned around 300,000 USD in prize money.

Jame - Career

His career started on 11.05.2017 with Team Hala Ares, but soon after Jame moved to AVANGAR. Less than a month after the formation of the Kazakh organization, Jame joined as a replacement for flomaster and soon after participated in his first major, ELEAGUE Boston 2018.

On the third of April 2019, the organization announced the resignation on the part of Jame, who was subsequently replaced by Ramz1k. However, about a month later, the Russian returned to the active lineup. After two transfers and the signings of SANJI and AdreN, the team once again saw significant improvements.

At the end of 2019, AVANGAR was the big surprise at the Berlin Major. The team around Jame surprised with their new style of play, which was built around the AWP of Dzhami. Against all expectations they reached the second place and had to admit defeat only in the final against Astralis .

As a result, the legendary Russian organization Virtus.Pro signed the entire lineup in December 2019, and Jame made the leap to the top of the world in short succession.

Jame - Achievements

As mentioned above, Jame participated in his first major, the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018. At that time, the team only achieved a 17th place and was eliminated early against Liquid . Continuously, the team around Jame improved and reached the finals at the Berlin Major after a 9-11th place at Katowice 2019.

Considering the sporting success, this second place certainly represents the highlight in Jame's young career. Looking at the prize money, Virtus.Pro achieved a huge success in 2020, winning one of the two biggest events of the year and $500,000 USD with a victory at Flashpoint 2. Another big success for Jame was winning cs_summit 7 and earning the MVP title, the second in his career after BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019.

A damper in his career was certainly the VAC ban of his team colleague "naumoFF" during the CIS Minor Krakow 2017 closed Qualifiers. If or to what extent Jame was involved in this scandal or knew about it is unconfirmed.
