Clan and made the big breakthrough in 2020. His role in the team is Entry Fragger and Nils prefers to play Rifle.
His first major tournament successes followed his move to BIG
and his current prize money is estimated at around 200,000 USD. The German is quite active on his social media, mainly using it to keep his community up to date with CS:GO related posts.
Nils uses his Twitter account regularly and shares highlight videos, stream announcements, but also giveaways with his roughly 25,000 followers. On Instagram, k1to likes to show off at events or with his fellow players. On his Twitch channel, he regularly entertains his fans with new streams.
k1to - Career
K1to started his career in 2016 with the German team DEVIZION and already played in his first A-tier tournament, the Acor Predator Masters Season 3. At that time, the team had to admit defeat to fnatic and eventually finished in 7-8th place. After about two months, the young German switched to Team Berzerk and was about to spend his first longer stay with the German-Swiss organization, before he was signed by ALTERNATE aTTaX after about a year.
At that time, Nils was already playing with his current teammate syrsoN
, as well as HUNDEN and tenzki, among others. At this time, the team participated in numerous B- and C-tier events and was able to record their first minor successes. After both HUNDEN and syrsoN did not renew their contracts at the end of 2018, the talented k1to also decided to leave the team.
In February 2019, the German played his first tournament for the Belgian organization Epsilon Esports. At that time the team was an international mixed lineup, in which among others the current main-AWP of FaZe
, Helvijs "broky" Saukants, played. Nils spent about half a year with the organization before moving to Sprout in May 2019, thus again opting for a German lineup.
Among others, he played again together with syrsoN
, who was under contract with ALTERNATE aTTaX for a bit longer and also switched to Sprout. Some smaller tournament successes were rewarded with the participation in the ESL Pro League Season 10 in October. Even though the team was already eliminated in the group stage and without a win, it was the first S-Tier event for k1to.
At the beginning of 2020, BIG
Clan decided to rebuild their active lineup and signed k1to and syrsoN, who already gained a lot of team experience together. This decision and the step to the new organization should change the life of Nils significantly. The BIG
Clan rose to a top team almost immediately after the new signings and developed into a contender for S-Tier victories in the next six months.
k1to - Achievements
As mentioned above, k1to participated in his first S-Tier event in 2019 together with Sprout. Before his transfer to BIG Clan, however, the German was unable to achieve any notable successes. The debut year at BIG Clan was even more successful. Starting with a win at DreamHack Open Leipzig, Nils and his team won a total of six tournaments, including one S-Tier event. The probably biggest success was the victory against G2 in the final match at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020.
