Surprises and disappointments

A big surprise was the sovereign group victory on the part of Heroic. Only about two weeks ago, the Danish organization changed their lineup and signed two new players from MAD Lions. Five wins in five games and direct qualification are therefore quite surprising, but a great success for the team.
Complexity secured a comfortable second place and the associated qualification for the playoffs. In an exciting duel between FunPlus Phoenix and OG, the lineup around IGL suNny secured the promotion on the last match day. A great success for the team. The big disappointment of the ESL Pro League so far was definitely the BIG Clan. The German team lost four duels and also the match against Renegades on the last day. The Australians not only won their first game in this duel, but also their first map.

Preview of Group B

In group B, Vitality, G2, FaZe and NiP represent numerous top teams. Mousesports and ENCE definitely have a chance in this group as well. Possibly the most spectacular and exciting group of the tournament awaits the spectators next week.
Especially interesting will be the developments of Vitality, which only yesterday announced the departure of Nivera from the active lineup, as well as FaZe, who will play their second tournament with the new IGL karrigan after the IEM Katowice. At G2 JaCkz returned to the active lineup and NiKo will take over the role of main-AWP.
NiP will also try to catch up with the good performance at BLAST Spring Stage after the disappointing performance at IEM Katowice. ENCE might also surprise with the new signings and will also show good games.
